Q12 MIZUYA TSUBO

The days water was drawn from a well every morning and kept in this large mouth jar. Also known as a kame. This is the picture of its larger sibling. The one priced below is smaller with wave patterns around the bottom instead of lotus petals.

Almost all of these bamboo items change because of the various enviornments. The largest problem is splitting. Over the years the brand we provide here has been the most stable, but!!! These may or may not split depending on your environment, central air/ heating in the west and new houses in the east.

I forgot to take a photo of the sashitoshi scoop. The mizukushi scoop comes with a chakin which is to be used as a filter. It assembles somewhat like an embroidery hoop.
