ABOUT KETTLES - PLEASE READ THIS
Kettles when cast still have internal stress which if not equalized can cause either hairline cracks or white spots to develop as it is used. ALL of the kettles and tetsubin offered on this site have been heat treated to prevent the above problems from occurring. This costs about 7,000 yen to do. Therefore, treated kettles are more expensive.
KETTLE PRICES
The kettles offered here are good quality and of superior design. They are also kept in stock by the caster so as not to be a supply problem most of the time. Kettle prices range from 25,000 Yen to 50,000,000 Yen depending on the fame or the maker and the various types of iron used.
LESS EXPENSIVE KETTLES OF GOOD QUALITY NEW
